The symbol of the cross was originally the priestess who dances and is, herself, the crossroad into which the spirit enters. Women naturally have this capacity on some level. The dance is the portal, her body the key which opens it and the place of invokation. Standing before the altar, which is a manifestation of her, Box of Blackness, all seeing, all knowing hive of Venus. Her teeming intelligences buzzzz, whirrr, expanding.
