Stars

TELL me, thou Star, whose wings of light Speed thee in thy fiery flight, In what cavern of the night Will thy pinions close now? Tell me, Moon, thou pale and gray SUNSET and evening star, And one clear call for me! And may there be no moaning of the bar, When I put out to sea, But such a tide as moving seems asleep,STAR that bringest home the bee, And sett st the weary labourer free! If any star shed peace, tis Thou That send st it from above. Appearing when Heaven s breath.. And the great star early droop d in the western sky in the night, I mourn d, and yet shall mourn with ever-returning spring....Even, Companion of retiring day, Why at the closing gates of heaven, Beloved Star, dost thou delay? So fair thy pensile beauty burns When soft the tear of twilight......THOU ling ring star, with lessening ray, That lov st to greet the early morn, Again thou usher st in the day My Mary from my soul was torn. O Mary! dear departed...STAR that bringest home the bee, And sett st the weary labourer free! If any star shed peace, tis Thou That send st it from above. Appearing when Heaven s breath...BRIGHT STAR! would I were steadfast as thou art:— Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night, And watching, with eternal lids apart, Like Nature s patient sleepless...enriches and gives possession; and that He is the Lord of the Dog-star, GO and catch a falling star, Get with child a mandrake root, Tell me where all past hours are, Or who cleft the Devil s foot; Teach me to hear mermaids singing, HAST thou a charm to stay the morning-star In his deep course? Ne te qusiveris extra. Man is his own star; and the soul that can Render an honest and a perfect man, Commands all light, all influence, all fate; Nothing to him...THE MASTER said: In governing, cleave to good; as the north star holds his place, and the multitude of stars revolve upon him. [2] The Master said: To sum up...THE SUN descending in the west, The evening star does shine; The birds are silent in their nest, And I must seek for mine. The moon, like a flower 5 In heaven s high...LORD of all being, throned afar, Thy glory flames from sun and star; Centre and soul of every sphere, Yet to each loving heart how near! Sun of our life, thy quickening...
